Sherry Mendoza Framed Easel Class Sat 28th Nov

Hi everyone,

Well this is a class you won't want to miss. Sherry who is the team coordinator of TwiddleyBitz is showing us how to decorate a gorgeous ornate frame to adorn your home, this includes making a 6in x 6in layout to place in the centre of it.

I'm actually participating in this class as I'm going to have a picture of my two kids on it and going to give it to my Mother-in-law for Christmas, so why not do this yourself that's if you can bring yourself to giving it away.

All products are provided $25, (the frame itself retails for $17-25). The class starts at 9.00am with coffee/tea and nibbles served, all in a lovely cool air-conditioned environment.

The only thing you need to bring is a small Black and white photo of whoever you would like on your page, because the frame sits on the easel you can also update at any stage.

Be quick as there are only a few spots left.

Here a sneak peak!!!

Vintage Products

Hi everyone,

Here are a few pictures of some vintage items I have for sale in the shop, if something takes your fancy let me know. Sorry, no overseas sales at the moment.

I have also added a card made using some of vintage products. I layered a doily on text paper and trim around it, glued a cameo in the centre then added ribbons and lace behind it on the card base.

Scrapbook page using Sherry Mendoza Flowers

Hi everyone

As you all know I'm a cardmaker not a scrapbooker. I would love to be able to create layouts, as I have many photos to scrap and admire those who make stunning pages. This is a very basic layout in which I have used Sherry Mendoza Flowers and a photo of my Mum in her younger days which I printed on canvas paper, hence the lines. I love, love, love Sherry's handmade flowers, they're just gorgeous!!

Check out Sherry's Etsy store under sherrym24

Now I'm off to make a card using them, you'll see that real soon.

Thanks for looking

Hi everyone,

I'm a tad excited as the cardmaking magazine that I'm very passionate about and that I luckily work as the technical editor on, is on sale in Coles stores this issue 14-8!!! YEAH. Anyway back to Stampabit and what's happening in store. I shall post a photo of Jenny's Dimensional Butterfly class soon and we also have my first technique class coming up this Saturday (chalk popping technique), we will have more info on this very soon.

Sorry for the lack of correspondence, and lack of links for the Newsletter and Workshops schedule. I'm trying to get organised for my classes over in New Zealand soon! what an exciting year!!

The decorated t-bag is the make and take for next Saturday the 7th Feb. Don't forget the make and takes are free!! I then proceeded to make a little box for them to sit in, then wrapped cellophane around it, and had the flower dangles hanging out the top. The stamp is a Hero Arts flower from the CL 230 Live Simply set.

Hope you like it. I will be posting more cards soon I promise, some I can't share as they're for the magazine, sorry he he.

Make and Take - Washers

Hi everyone,

Here's the make and take card I made for last Saturday, it will also be next Saturdays make and take! I might make another card using these, I reckon they're great for all sorts of things. I used the humble plain metal washers that you can purchased in any hardware store, they are available in a range of sizes. Apply a K&Company Glitter Urban Rhapsody rub-on over the larger one, and then layered a smaller washer on top, insert a rhinestone brad through the centre and attach to the flower.

Don't forget these Make and Takes are FREE to make in store.
Every Saturday 10am.

Thanks for looking
